Our story
LiveProfile began with a simple idea: help people communicate more easily, stay connected from anywhere, and share life's everyday moments.
Originally launched in 2010 as one of the first truly cross-platform messaging apps, LiveProfile grew beyond anything we imagined. Millions of people made it part of their daily lives, chatting with friends, connecting through groups, discovering communities, and expressing themselves in new ways. What felt like a new way to communicate then has since become the way billions of people connect every day.
But the vision behind LiveProfile was always bigger than messaging alone.

At the center of the new LiveProfile are AI companions, each with its own personality, memory, interests, and ways to help. Some become someone you genuinely enjoy talking to. Others make you laugh, introduce you to something new, help bring an idea to life, or are simply there when you need them. Many do a little of everything.
But companions don't live in a separate world. They're part of the same place where you connect, share, and spend time with other people. Discover companions or create your own. Talk one-on-one, or bring them into conversations with friends.
Over time, the people and companions you choose make LiveProfile more personal and more interesting.
As AI becomes part of everyday life, we believe it should make our conversations more useful, more creative, and more meaningful, not replace them.

Our team
LiveProfile is built by Phil Karl and William Key, two lifelong friends who met online as kids through computer games, years before we ever met in person.
What started as an online friendship grew into a partnership that's lasted nearly two decades. That experience shaped our belief in technology's ability to bring people together and help them build meaningful relationships.
That belief inspired us to launch LiveProfile in 2010. It continues to inspire everything we're building today.
